    General Description
    LEAVES: Petiole twice as short as blade, slender, geniculum short. Blade narrowly lanceolate, on both sides equally narrowed and acute, 20 cm long, 3 cm wide, primary lateral veins on both sides 3-4, joined into a collective vein distant by ? to 2/5 of the width from margin to midrib. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle slender, more than half the leaf length. Spathe oblong-elliptic, acuminate, milky white, 4 cm long, 1 cm wide at the middle. Spadix with a stipe 1 cm long, slenderly cylindric, 2 cm long, 3 mm thick. INFRUCTESCENCE unseen.

    Subequatorial Andine Province: Colombia; on stream banks in the region of Antioquia.
