    Habit
    Low epiphyte or terrestrial.
    Rhizomes
    Rhizome erect, short, with deltoid rhizome scales ending in an attenuate tip [not visible on our specimen].
    Leaves
    Fronds tufted, erect, not proliferous.
    Stipes
    Stipe 8–16 cm long, with sparse scales and near apex articulated hairs [in ours look like stalked glands].
    Leaf lamina
    Lamina herbaceous, oblong, 10–15 × 5–7 cm, 1-pinnate, basal pinnae not or hardly reduced, terminal pinna deltoid-oblong, dentate.
    Pinnae
    Pinna in 6–8 pairs, alternate, petiolulate, trapezoid-oblong, to 4 × 1.7 cm, acroscopic base truncate-cuneate and parallel to the rachis, basiscopic margin obliquely cuneate, margin crenate-dentate, apex rounded or acute, glabrous.
    Rachis
    Rachis narrowly winged [I think], with sparse ?stalked glands.
    Sori
    Sori many, on the veins at 45° angle to costa, not reaching costa or margin, linear, 3–8 mm long.
    Indusium
    Indusium membranous, entire, ?0.3 mm wide.
    Ecology
    Swamp forest, where locally common, on stumps or mounds; ± 1140 m
    Conservation
    Widespread; least concern (LC)
