    Stipe 15–30 cm long, pale brown, slightly pubescent with minute hairs
    Leaf lamina
    Lamina lanceolate to narrowly elliptic in outline, 25–40 cm long, (3–)6–14 cm wide, bipinnatifid.
    Leaves
    Pinnae 12–15 pairs, either all more or less adnate to the rachis or lower 4–8 pairs free or minutely stalked; longest pinnae narrowly oblong or attenuate, 6.5–7.5(–13) cm long, 1.2–1.6(–2) cm wide, incised about half-way to costa into rounded lobes 6–8 mm long, 3–5 mm wide, pubescent on both surfaces; veins ± 6 pairs, entirely free Fronds tufted, 15–80 cm long, simply pinnate
    Sori
    Sori linear-oblong or narrowly elliptic-oblong, the veins, without indusium.
