Fertile lemma lanceolate (1), or elliptic (1), or ovate (1); membranous; of similar consistency above (1), or much thinner above (1); without keel; 5-6 -veined (1), or 7 -veined, or 8-9 -veined (1). Lemma apex obtuse (1), or acute (1). Palea present (1), or absent or minute (1).

    Lodicules 2 (1/1). Anthers 2 (1/1). Stigmas 2 (1/1).
    Fruits
    Caryopsis with adherent pericarp; fusiform; isodiametric (1/1); biconvex (1/1). Embryo 0.3 length of caryopsis. Hilum punctiform (1), or elliptic (1).
