Lower glume surface pubescent. Lower glume apex acute. Upper glume oblong (1), or ovate (1); 0.5-0.8125-1 length of adjacent fertile lemma; membranous; without keels; 9 -veined (1), or 12-13 -veined (1). Upper glume lateral veins with cross-veins (1/1). Upper glume surface pubescent. Upper glume apex acute.
    Florets
Fertile lemma oblong; membranous; without keel; 9-12 -veined (1), or 13 -veined, or 14-19 -veined (1). Lemma surface pubescent. Lemma apex acute.
