Morphology General Habit
Glabrous ± pruinose perennial herb; stem erect or decumbent at the base, up to 1.5 m. or more high, yellow-green, mottled with grey streaks.

Leaves opposite, petiolate; blade ovate to subcircular, up to 25 cm. long, 15 cm. wide, apex obtuse, base cordate to subpeltate, margins irregularly and coarsely crenate, green to slightly glaucous; petiole up to 10 cm. long, flat or grooved above, semi-amplexicaul.

Inflorescence a racemose cyme up to 20 cm. or more long; pedicels 10–15(–25) mm. long.

Anthers with apical glands ± 0.3 mm. in diameter; episepalous stamens with anthers included 5–6 mm. within the tube, anthers oblong, ± 3.5 mm. long, 1.5 mm. wide; epipetalous stamens barely exserted, anthers oblong, ± 2.5 mm. long, 1.5 mm. wide.
