    Habit
    Aromatic shrub to 60 cm, with pubescent branches.
    Leaves
    Leaves conspicuously petiolate, oblong-elliptic, 2–8 × 0.8–2.5 cm, entire or with a small pair of lobes at base, crenulate, ± densely whitepubescent beneath; verticils 4–8-flowered.
    Bracts
    Bracts elliptic, lower ones foliaceous.
    Calyx
    Calyx campanulate, 8–10 mm long, pubescent.
    Corolla
    Corolla purplish blue, 15–25 mm long; tube 10–15 mm long; anterior lip broad and slightly longer than the posterior lip.
