    Diagnostic
    Very close to I. ischnoclada but the leaves are pinnately 3-foliolate, the subulate gland-tipped points to the bracts and upper leaves are shorter, up to 0.5 mm. instead of 1 mm. long, the peduncles are sparsely pilose, up to 25 mm. long and 1–3-flowered, the filaments up to 3 mm. and the pods up to 11 mm. long.
    Habitat
    Damp sandy ground by lake in a valley of impeded drainage in Acacia, Commiphora bushland; 1000 m.; rainfall 600–700 mm.
