    More or less erect annual resembling T. rueppellianum.
    Leaves
    Differs from T. rueppellianum in the stipules being usually somewhat laciniate at the margin, in the leaflets which are lanceolate and very acute, up to 27 mm. long by 7 mm. wide, with prominent whitish nerves set at an angle of ± 30° with the midrib, and the pilose calyx.
    Corolla
    Corolla purple, ± 5 mm. long, shorter than the calyx.
