    Erect annual herb 9–14 cm high.

    Stems simple or sparingly branched, ± fleshy, glabrous
    Leaves
    Lower leaves in a basal rosette, lanceolate-ovate, 7–11 mm long, 3–4 mm wide, sessile, base tapering, apex acute, margins entire, parallel-veined; cauline leaves few and distantly placed, linear, ± 4 mm, decreasing in size, glabrous
    Flowers
    Flowers in bracteate, few-flowered racemes; pedicels 6–10 mm long, filiform
    Calyx
    Calyx ± 3 mm long, teeth acuminate, glabrous
    Corolla
    Corolla purplish-blue; corolla tube campanulate, ± 3 mm long, upper limb 2–3 mm, entire, lower lip trilobed, 2–3 mm

    Capsule ± 3 mm long.
