    Habit
    Shrub about 1–2 m. high.
    Leaves
    Petiole 3–4 mm. long; leaf-blade lanceolate or oblanceolate, (100–) 120–150(–180) mm. long, (15–)22–30(–35) mm. wide, narrowed at base and tip.
    Inflorescences
    Inflorescence a terminal umbel, 8–15(–25)-flowered; peduncle 8–20 mm. long; bracts 5–12 mm. long, 1.5–2.5 mm. wide, glabrous or slightly ciliate.
    Flowers
    Flowers 4–5-merous, yellowish green; pedicel 2–4 mm.long.
    Calyx
    Calyx-tube 20–24 mm. long, 1–2 mm. wide, glabrous, striate; lobes ovate, 2.5–4 mm. long, 1–2 mm. wide, the interior a little smaller, the exterior pubescent at the margins.
    Anthers
    Anthers subsessile, ± 1.5 mm. long.
    Pistil
    Ovary 2 mm. long, glabrous; disc 0.5–1.0 mm., crenulate or lobed, glabrous; style ± 5 mm. long.
    Fruits
    Fruit not seen.
    Habitat
    Mist-forest by stream banks; 1000–1100 m.
