    Habit
    Shrub 1–2 m. high.
    Leaves
    Petiole 4–5 mm. long; leaf-blade lanceolate or ovate-elliptic, 72–105 mm. long, 25–30 mm. wide, acuminate, attenuate to the base, undulate.
    Inflorescences
    Inflorescence umbellate, 4–8-flowered; peduncle 8–15 mm. long; bracts ± 8 mm. long, slightly ciliate.
    Flowers
    Flowers 4-merous, yellowish green; pedicel 8–13 mm., slightly hairy at top.
    Calyx
    Calyx-tube 6–10 mm. long, glabrous or slightly hairy at base, sometimes with scattered hairs on the lower part; lobes ovate, 2.5–3 mm. long, 1–1.5 mm. wide, ciliate.
    Stamens
    Stamens of the upper whorl slightly exserted; anthers subsessile.
    Pistil
    Ovary hairy at apex; disc crenate or lobed, glabrous; style ± 2 mm.
    Fruits
    Fruit not seen.
    Habitat
    Mist-forest, undergrowth; 1200 m.
