- General Description
- Epiphytic or rupicolous herb with short stem to 7cm long, 2cm thick, old cataphylls to 5cm long, persistent, brown, net-fibrous. LEAVES ± rosulate; petiole to 6.5cm long, 0.4cm thick, much shorter than blade; leaf blade linear to narrowly oblanceolate, to 50cm long, 5cm broad, apex acute, base acute to subacute, paler on lower surface; main side veins forming conspicuous inframarginal veins. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle to 45cm long, 0.3cm thick, erect; spathe oblong-lanceolate, to 5.5cm long, 1.5cmbroad, subequal to spadix, green, erect to suberect; spadix cylindric to slightly conic, to 6cm long, 0.6cm thick; tepals yellow to cream. Exserted anthers held vertically and distinctly beyond tepals (not lying flat on gynoecium as in many other species).
