    Note
    Characterized by the white tomentose indumentum on branches, leaves and inflorescences.  It is related to the southern African V. rehmannii Gürke in which the median leaflets are narrowly oblong to lanceolate and both surfaces of the lamina are glabrous or with only a thin indumentum.
