    Habit
    Perennial; mat forming. Culms prostrate; 8-15 cm long; rooting from lower nodes. Culm-nodes pubescent. Leaf-sheaths 5-8 cm long; pilose. Ligule a fringe of hairs. Leaf-blade base broadly rounded. Leaf-blades linear; 6.3 cm long; 3-4 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface pilose; hairy adaxially. Leaf-blade apex acute.

    Inflorescence a panicle. Panicle open; linear; effuse; 5-8 cm long. Primary panicle branches spreading; 0.5-1.5 cm long. Spikelets solitary. Fertile spikelets pedicelled. Pedicels 1.5-2 mm long.

    Caryopsis with adherent pericarp; ovoid; 0.8 mm long.
